This policy explains what cookies are, which ones floriumsotogrande.com (the “Website”) uses and how you can manage them. It follows Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services (LSSI-CE), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the guide on the use of cookies published by the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They allow the website to remember information about your visit, such as your preferences or whether you are signed in. This policy also covers similar technologies, such as local storage.
Cookies can be set by the website you are visiting (first-party cookies) or by another company whose service is included in that website (third-party cookies).
2. The cookies we use
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. The Website uses only the following.
Technical cookies
These are needed for the Website to work and to remember your cookie choice. They do not require your consent. Most of them are only set for people who sign in to manage the Website.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| wordpress_logged_in_[hash] wordpress_sec_[hash] | Florium (WordPress) | Keep site administrators signed in. | Session, or 14 days if “Remember me” is ticked |
| wordpress_test_cookie | Florium (WordPress) | Checks that your browser accepts cookies when you sign in. | Session |
| wp-settings-[ID] wp-settings-time-[ID] | Florium (WordPress) | Remember the dashboard preferences of site administrators. | 1 year |
| _lscache_vary | Florium (LiteSpeed Cache) | Shows signed-in administrators the right version of each page. | Session |
| [consent cookie] | Florium | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected the cookies that need your consent. | [duration] |
Third-party cookies (only with your consent)
The map on our Contact page is provided by Google Maps. When the map loads, Google may set its own cookies to remember your preferences, keep the service secure and measure how it is used. We only load the map if you accept these cookies.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| NID | Remembers your preferences in Google services and helps protect against fraud. | 6 months | |
| AEC | Ensures that requests during a browsing session come from the user and not from other sites. | 6 months | |
| SOCS | Stores your choices about Google’s own cookies. | 13 months |
Google may change the names and durations of its cookies. You can find up-to-date information in Google’s cookie policy.
3. Your consent
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject the cookies that need your consent. Rejecting them is as easy as accepting them, and the Website works either way, except for the map.
You can change your choice at any time from the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
4. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also allow, block or delete cookies in your browser settings. These guides explain how:
If you block all cookies, some parts of the Website, such as the map, may not work.
5. International transfers
Google may process the information collected by its cookies in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission considers to offer an adequate level of protection. For more information about how we process personal data, see our Privacy policy.
6. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if the cookies we use change. The date at the top of the page shows the current version. For any question, write to info@floriumsotogrande.com.
